The issue is particularly severe for the USA since during a significant portion of its history, it was the state that oppressed other social groups and races due to their difference. Due to the particular characteristics of this area, the USA was distinguished by the widespread use of slaves, primarily African-American ones who worked in many sectors of the business. Aside from that, things started to change in the 20th century. Numerous civil rights movements aimed at enhancing the condition of the underprivileged classes emerged as a result of the increase in public consciousness. People of varying skin tones suffered from prejudice and discrimination, so the issue remained complicated. Since race was the primary factor used to determine an individual's status and offer him or her a variety of opportunities, it was carried out at the governmental level.

For instance, the Federal living Administration was established by the government in the 1930s with the primary objective of assisting individuals in improving their living conditions through the provision of loans (California Newsreel, 2010). The Better Housing Programme was a great step in the direction of gradually raising people's standards of living and producing a housing supply. Numerous individuals took part in the programme and received new homes. The project, which was a singular occurrence in American social life, also provided a fertile field for a great deal of discussion. Millions of African-American GIs who served in World War II returned to the segregated society after the war, dreaming of owning a home.

It is clear that depressed minorities were dissatisfied with their position in society and the prejudice that surrounded them. Their lifestyles were primarily influenced by their race, which also created many restrictions on their existence. The circumstance was absurd. Due to segregation laws that established a number of appropriate behaviours, people who endured the hell of war and fought for their country were regarded differently and denied the chance to integrate with society. It is clear that African Americans were dissatisfied with their situation and became involved in the fight for their rights in an effort to change attitudes and win equal rights. Numerous civil rights movements consequently emerged and changed American society.

At this time, we could observe the great impact that the above process had on society. Race no longer serves as a primary distinguishing criterion. The U.S. government guarantees equal rights to all citizens of the state regardless of ethnicity, culture, religion or race (Rothenberg, 2016). I was able to see how African Americans work in different fields and participate in many social processes. We also have many opportunities to ensure the prosperity and future of our children. At first glance, this situation may seem ideal. Unfortunately, there are still many problems.
